This is pillow is sold very fully filled, but you can reduce the filling from the inner pillow with a zipper and add on later when needed. Slightly emptied pillow can be nicely molded to fit in different positions.

The right height of the meditation pillow depends on the natural hip flexibility. In a good meditation position (lotus or sitting on your knees) knees are below the hips. The better rotation you have in your hips, the lower pillow you need. When you get your hips to relax, also your back relaxes and straightens. The position for meditation should be alert yet calm.
